At last, on July 15, the curtain will rise on the summer class match that gets everyone fired up!
This time, our "crack" Public Relations Team has taken a thorough look at the "almost too serious" competition rules distributed beforehand (they feel more like professional league regulations!) and compiled the highlights you need to know—as well as the "dangerous rules" you absolutely must avoid—to enjoy the class match 100 times more.
The champion of the final tournament will receive 200 points, the runner-up 180 points, and third place 160 points. Unfortunately, the class finishing last will receive only 100 points.
"A class where the boys are incredibly strong, but the girls lose in the first round and lose all motivation..."
A class like that can instantly fall out of the race for the overall championship.
The entire class's unity is now being tested: cheering loudly for the boys' powerful spikes, celebrating the girls' brilliant plays, and supporting each other with all their strength.
1. No Time to Breathe! The "Five-Second Rule" for Serves
"The ball must be served within five seconds after the referee's whistle. If it is not served within five seconds, a point will be awarded to the opposing team."
Five seconds.
If you take your time, bounce the ball several times, fix your hair, carefully aim, and perform your usual routine... the opponent will already have gained a point before you even hit the ball.
With such a fast-paced game, you cannot afford to look away. This rule is reminiscent of the pitch clock introduced in Major League Baseball. Make sure you are prepared.
2. Volleyball Players' "Smuggling Operation" (Duplicate Participation) Means Immediate Disqualification!
Strict rules apply to students with volleyball experience participating in matches.
If a class secretly allows someone to participate in violation of these rules, that class will immediately receive a penalty and be moved to the lowest rank.
Changes to player registration will only be accepted until 8:55 a.m. on the day of the event. The ability of team managers to prepare the necessary paperwork may actually become the key factor.
3. Will the Captain's Stomach Survive...? The Rules for Appeals
If a team disagrees with a referee's decision, only the team captain is allowed to approach the head referee and ask for clarification.
If players on the sidelines repeatedly shout things like, "What!? That was a net touch!" and protest excessively, the consequences can be severe: two warnings may result in immediate removal from the competition and a ban from all matches that day.
The captain's communication skills and the good manners of the cheering section will be put to the test.
The tense qualifying league matches will take place in the morning. After the lunch break—during which the important announcement of rankings and matchups will be made—the tournament stage begins in the afternoon.
From 2:00 p.m., the finals for each grade will be held one after another on the center court!
Only in the finals will the match time be extended to five minutes per half, creating a true battle of pride and determination.
